New Jersey Maternity Photographer | Krissy

Meet one of my dearest friends Krissy, she's expecting her first baby in a few months and I had the honor of being there for her baby shower and then capturing some images of her super cute baby bump. After a 5 hour baby shower, in 30 degree weather we rushed to catch the last minutes of sunshine, we found a field and voila! But let's face it when you look like this 8 months pregnant you could pull off maternity pictures in a ditch and make them look good.

We recently moved and this was my first shoot in my new "area". My friend took the drive from Orlando for her annual Holiday shoot and I couldn't be happier to explore my new surroundings with old friends. Did I mention that the temperature dropped 50 degrees from the day before and we had find complete new outfits for the girls the hour before our shoot?? Safety Harbor gave us some crazy winds that afternoon but that just made this family snuggle a little tighter.

April in Florida is glorious, it's not too hot and definitely not cold, the sun shines bright and without a smidge of humidity we are reminded of why we live in the sunshine state. A stroll around the beautiful Disney Boardwalk, Beach & Yacht Club was the perfect setting for this gorgeous family as they celebrated their littlest baby turning two. There was lot of laughs, pouts, sass, hugs, kisses and tons of jelly beans.

You only meet a person like Krissy once in a lifetime, she's someone that can fill a room with laughter, find positive in anything and make you feel loved with a smile. When Richie tied a ring to the top of that pumpkin and got down on one knee, he not only got the best woman but a friend in me. Krissy and Richie, I am so happy you found each other and I cannot be happier to be a part of your big day this December. I will always cherish this afternoon we spent in Rutgers Gardens. xoxo
